SmCo gesintert

Product no.: SmCo gesintert

The main raw materials for SmCo magnets are samarium (~ 25% .. 35%), small amounts of chromium and copper, the rest is cobalt. SmCo magnets are mainly manufactured by pressing and sintering. SmCo magnets are also available as plastic-bonded magnets. The remanence of SmCo magnets is, depending on the alloy, between approx. 0.86 and 1.16 Tesla. It is comparable to the remanence of NdFeB magnets. SmCo magnets have a high coercive field strength. With an Hcj value of 1,000 - 2,200 kA / m, they are only slightly below the values of NdFeB magnets. The operating temperature of sintered SmCo magnets is up to 350 ° C. This means that high-energy projects can be carried out in systems subject to high temperatures.
